When the arse falls out

How far will the Baltic Dry Index Fall?

The Baltic Dry Index has plummeted and I totally missed the entire fall. I was meant to waiting for that. Where’s my head at, where’s my head at.

As Wikinvest states The Baltic Dry Index is a daily average of prices to ship raw materials.

I’m not sure how I missed the fall of the index from the spikes over 11,000 to today’s 855. Another opportunity that I missed when it was an obvious ripple that I was waiting for. With the coming recession it was clear that shipping would fall, yet again my failure to implement a good watchlist alert system has let me down. I did have DRYS and Diana on my list just no alerts set. I missed the entire move and while the index and shippers could go lower I need to think ahead of the game. What ripple is next. Of course Seth Klarman may say I’m wasting my time trying to determine such things.

How could I let something as simple as a watch list get left behind. Man down, triage complete, my watchlist needs attention.
