I’m going to move this blog to the Front Page of Fusion Investing.
I’m not sure how smooth the transition will be. If transmission is not seamless please reply to this post.
http://www.fusioninvesting.com/
I plan on moving in a week and will update this post with details.
T-7 Decision to move
First Step is to incorporate the pages from the main site within this blog. So over the coming days I’ll be publishing the pages from fusioninvesting.com under this blog. I will edit the pages over time. Which will be a lot easier now that’ll …

In Fusion Investing we utilise techniques from multiple investment disciplines and try to get into the head of the market, management, customers and the entire value for our largest investments.

School holidays have started here in Australia so I’ll be blogging less over the next six weeks.
I’d like to thank the Australian government for the $300 bonus for my youngest starting school in 2009. That’s three times more than this this site has generated in nine months. Hey, I’m not complaining, before I started blogging I viewed ads with disdain…actually worse than that, ads didn’t ever register on my visual cortex.

Summary
CV Therapeutics, Inc. (CVTX) is in a great position. Excellent balance sheet with enough cash to see them through to profitability. Four revenue streams in 2009 should get them close to profitable in Q4 2009 or early 2010. The FDA first line approval for Ranexa will see an acceleration of growth in US sales. Ranexa’s current market share in US is less than 1% so there’s significant possible upside. As they continue to increase sales and head for profitability more analysts and investors will pay attention to CVTX. Possible catalyst …

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (STP)
I won’t be buying any more as I had a large serve at around $10.
I was wrong about a few things in my last post on Suntech. I predicted earnings reasonably well yet poorly anticipated market reaction. Score fundie 1, behavioral -1.
Long term theme is still reasonably intact, but there are some questions over the short term. Look at the cash flow carefully.
US electricity consumption is set to rise 41% by 2020. I see the majority of increase being supplied by alternative energy and that …
