Currently the Australian economy is sounder because of a safer currency, commodity (ex-oil) reserves, less riskier banks, and less political-debt risk environment. I like gold and mining companies in australia and some banks considering they still ahve large immigration growth and thus housing (lending) growth. I've been investing in the larger XAO for small cap exposure.
