Fusion Fund Takes up Full ANZ SPP Allocation

July 2, 2009 3:52 pm by Dean Morel

The Fusion Fund has applied for a full $15k allocation to the ANZ share purchase plan.

I will write more about this later, but if anyone still wants to apply you have a little under one hour to get to 380 Bourke St, Melbourne with your application and cheque. Make sure you have it in a letter with a stamp, as theat is the GPO Box location and you’ll be posting it over the counter.

More later on as I relay the trials and tribuations of how I made $1875 in an hour.
[Here is the story.]

ANZ Bank raises a record $2.2B from retail investors.
The shares are due to be allocated on Monday. As I have the another imminent capital raising and wouldn’t be able to rush to Perth with a cheque as I did for ANZ, I sold part of our existing ANZ holding yesterday. I still plan on selling more of either ANZ or MQG over the coming month or so as our Australian portfolio is overweight banking.

I did see a good post about a mining net-net situation today, HGO.AX. IF only I get over my aversion to mining.
