There is one important thing. Buy Fear Sell Greed. With little time for detailed research (bad move Dean) but a lot of money to put to work in the Fusion Investing Fund, the fund just bought 1,000 ANZ shares at $18.10. While Westpac Bank would have been a more conservative investment the greater potential of ANZ and my better understanding of ANZ swung my decision.

I often see this confusion in fundamental investors, how can you call a bottom? The thing is you can’t. Technical investors know that and never proclaim they can. Fusion investors also know they can’t time market bottoms, but they also know they can increase their chances of getting close to the bottom by combining fundamental and technical analysis in a mixing bowl along with some behavioral finance. The Fusion Investing Portfolio initiated a starting position of 1,000 shares in PFE at $17.68 at 23.40pm AEST.
I will update this post with more details tomorrow. The preferred outcome is for PFE to continue to head lower to allow a sizable position to built at lower prices.

The Fusion Investing and Analysis Fund has sold 5 FDX June $90 Puts (FDXRR) at $4.00.

With 28 days to expiration selling at $4.00, gives cost if put of $86, return on total risk of 4.65%, annualised to 60%, return on buying power of 15.5% and a 2.5% discount from the price.
This transaction delivers $2,000 cash to the fund. I anticipate holding until expiration. I’ll update this entry with further details tomorrow.
