I’m cowering inside instead of trimming the bottle brush as I just witnessed a life and death tussle between two highly skilled hunters in my shed. As the main hunter was a white tailed spider and a lunch guest had recently alerted me to their danger I scampered inside to research how close to death I came.
If a mild irritation is close to death then I came close. I really don’t want to spray out in my shed. That’s where a lot of our pets live. Like this gecko.

It appears, BAM Capital, who recently bought 30 million Prana shares at $0.20 decided to try to avail themselves of the generous offer of ‘bonus’ shares if the share price closed under $0.19. Rather than act with integrity BAM Capital borrowed and then sold Prana ADRs, which I surmise was to ensure the ‘bonus’ share trigger was hit. I’d call BAM Capital scum sucking opportunistic leeches, but it appears all they did was play the game. Of course I could be wrong and will happily publish a retraction if someone enlightens me.

Prana secured an additional $6M in exchange for 20M shares and 10M 30 cent options. This funding brings the total dilution since the successful 2A trial to 31%.

On July 30th Prana Biotechnology Limited (PBT.AX)/(PRAN) released their quarterly cash flow report. With $4.3M left in cash and a current burn rate of $1.5M a quarter the life force is draining out of Prana. However, investors have now received a ray of hope with the announcement of European patent approval and a US notice of allowance.
Prana’s key asset is PBT2 which succesfully complete PIIa trials in February 2008. Investors were expecting a partnering deal to be announced soon after and rumours about a deal surfaced on message board towards the end of 2008. However, it’s now 18 months since the P11a trial announcement and no deal has eventuated. Consequently, the share price dropped to a low of $0.125AUD in June.

On Pfizer I own PFE bought at around these prices.
To embellish comments already in this thread, PFE have the best sales machine in the industry. They will either develop or buy products to sell. That is the most probably outcome. Yet look at PFE’s stats and you can see the odds the voting machine is quoting. There is a clear discrepancy there, some call it a margin of …
